It is an interdisciplinary field that requires creative thinking, aesthetic sense, graphic and technical skills and writing good texts. A properly designed publication or website should be aesthetic, substantive and user-friendly. The website should also be fast and reliable, as well as responsive, i.e. scalable for mobile devices. Computer graphics and various visual and multimedia forms play a very important role in DTP and Web design processes. An important feature of a good designer of printed and electronic publications, apart from technical skills, is a broad view of the world and communication skills.
