Training for business

Open and closed training programs

My partners in organizing training for business were mainly Presspublica from Warsaw and Avenhansen from Krakow. I also conducted training as part of consulting services, as well as in cooperation with the Lazarski University in Warsaw. My training programs were a synthesis of many years of professional experience and knowledge acquired in Poland and abroad. They were distinguished by a practical approach to the presented subject matter. Analytical, planning, design and financial tools are presented in the context of a comprehensive process of strategic company management, which also includes psychological and behavioral aspects.

Strategic management - theory, tools, practice

The program of a two-day open training, offered in cooperation with Presspublica – the publisher of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily. The training was addressed to private and state-owned companies, as well as other organizations interested in the practical issues of professional management. It presented the management process as the art of analytical thinking and decision-making aimed at optimal use of the company’s resources to achieve market success and build a sustainable competitive advantage. It proved that this is an art whose mastery can be of great importance in a situation of economic downturn and the need to radically reduce operating costs. It presented extensive, methodical knowledge and management tools at the strategic, tactical and operational levels. It offered carefully prepared lectures and didactic materials, as well as interesting workshop classes, allowing for practical mastery of management issues, appropriate for top management.

Practical aspects of project management

Extensive training program offered in partnership with Avenhansen training center. It provided methodical knowledge and project management skills. It included interesting lectures, carefully prepared teaching materials and workshops. It was distinguished by a practical approach to project management, presenting these issues based on the two most popular methodologies – PM-BOK and Prince2. In addition to standard issues, it devoted a lot of attention to the assessment of business justification of projects. It presented formulas for calculating the profitability of new products, the investment repayment period and estimating their profitability, taking into account changes in the value of money over time. It was a particularly attractive proposition for company employees interested in implementing effective project management methods. It was also useful for managers responsible for introducing new products to the market and expanding the company into new business segments.

Technological audit – professional provision of consulting services

A three-day training, offered in cooperation with Avenhansen training center, focusing on the analytical phase of the strategic planning process, including the examination of the company’s internal efficiency. Technological audit is one of the forms of organizational audit, aimed at identifying negative phenomena limiting the company’s development opportunities.

Each company (organization) conducts its activity using various technologies, both in the sphere of basic activities (production – generating a specific value for the customer) and in the sphere of supporting activities (finance, administration, human capital management, etc.). The modernity of technology and related methods of work organization determines the quality of the company’s operation and, consequently, the ability to offer high-quality products and services. There is no quality outside without quality inside. The proper organization of the company is the starting point for rational participation in the competitive market game.

Everything you’ve learned so far will lose its meaning
if you can’t find a use for this knowledge.

Employed or own company?

The training was prepared for CareerCon for job fairs regularly organized by this company. Its aim was to provide support to university graduates in their search for a job. The way to achieve this goal was the presentation of various factors shaping the professional situation of both full-time employees and entrepreneurs starting their activity. The training program focused on presenting the real conditions of the Polish labor market and the real possibilities of looking for a job.

The IT Career Fair is an important event during which companies from the ICT industry present their job offers, as well as ongoing projects and plans for the future. Marketing. Basics of modern company management

The publication presented next to it was created in 1991, in the course of postgraduate studies entitled “Economic and legal rules for the functioning of small companies”, conducted at the University of Lodz under the supervision of Prof. Bogdan Gregor. Its purpose was to present the basics of marketing and its place in the company’s management system, and also to show that the implementation of the marketing style of management is not a risky undertaking and untested, but necessary to maintain proper commercial relations of the company with its customers.

The content of this article was created at a special moment in the history of Poland – in the first years of a deep transformation of the political and economic system. At that time, the issues related to the functioning of the free market economy were practically unknown. Its content has not lost its relevance and can be helpful in understanding the mechanisms of the free market economy even today, constituting a useful addition to management training.
